Deep molds are perfect for creating drink markers & car window charms while thin molds are great for creating scrapbooking embellishments that will complete any page or card. Below are directions on how you can make your own embellishments, drink markers & car window charms.
Scrapbook Embellishments:
What you will need:
- Epoxy Resin & Epoxy Resin Hardener
- Disposable gloves
- Disposable cup & stir stick
- Mica powder (of your choosing)
- SiliconeZone Ocean mold (or any type of SiliconeZone themed-mold)
- Scrapbooking layout
Step 1: Make sure to protect your work area and to put on gloves.
Step 2: Add equal parts of epoxy resin & epoxy resin hardener to a disposable cup.
Step 3: With the stir stick, mix the equal parts for 5 minutes.
Step 4: Now is the time to add in any color mica powder to your resin mixture. Once you add in the color mica powder you’d like mix together for 2 minutes.
Step 5: Carefully take your mixture and slowly pour into the SiliconeZone Ocean mold.
Step 6: Depending on the resin kit you’ve chosen the resin may have to cure up to 24 hours or less. Make sure to look at your brands instructions to see how long the resin will take to cure.
Step 7: The fun part! Once the resin is all set, it’s time to pop your cute ocean pieces out.
Step 8: After removing all of your resin ocean molds, you are now ready to place these on your summer scrapbook page or on your beautiful handmade card.

- Drinking Glass

Step 4: Now is the time to add in any color mica powder to your resin mixture. Once you add in the color mica powder you’d like mix together for 2 minutes.

Step 6: Depending on the resin kit you’ve chosen the resin may have to cure up to 24 hours or less. Make sure to look at your brands instructions to see how long the resin will take to cure.
Step 7: Once the resin is all set, it’s time to pop out these adorable flamingo pieces.
Step 8: After removing all of your resin flamingo molds, you are now ready to place these on your refreshing summer cocktail! Mark everyone’s drink with different color flamingos or create different molds. This is definitely a summer party must-have!
Car Window Charms:
What you will need:
- Epoxy Resin & Epoxy Resin Hardener
- Disposable gloves
- Disposable cup & stir stick
- Mica powder (of your choosing)
- SiliconeZone Flamingo, Ocean or Whale molds (or any type of SiliconeZone themed-mold)
- Car Window
- Hot Glue
- Magnets
Step 1: Make sure to protect your work area and to put on gloves.
Step 2: Add equal parts of epoxy resin & epoxy resin hardener to a disposable cup.
Step 3: With the stir stick, mix the equal parts for 5 minutes.
Step 4: Now is the time to add in any color mica powder to your resin mixture. Once you add in the color mica powder you’d like mix together for 2 minutes.
Step 5: Carefully take your mixture and slowly pour into one of your Siliconezone summer themed molds.
Step 6: Depending on the resin kit you’ve chosen the resin may have to cure up to 24 hours or less. Make sure to look at your brands instructions to see how long the resin will take to cure.
Step 7: Once the resin is all set, remove your summer mold pieces.
Step 8: After removing, it’s time to get them ready to be placed on your car! These can be placed by either hot glue, suction cups or magnets.
Step 9 (For Window): Grab your hot glue and place a little glue on the back of your mold. From there you can then place the mold on the window of your choosing.
Step 10 (Car Magnet): Grab a small round magnet and hot glue to glue the magnet to the back of your mold. Once the magnet is on your mold, you now have a cute summer car magnet!
